Improved tail latencies for image requests

Hurray, great news for image users :tada:

We’ve optimized our systems to reduce tail latencies, specifically for requests that previously resulted in a cache miss.
With these enhancements, users will experience much faster response times, even for uncached images.

You can expect an improvement in your Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) score by 30–40%, delivering a smoother and faster user experience while boosting your Core Web Vitals performance.

What is an LCP?
LCP measures the time it takes for the largest visible content element (such as an image, video, or text block) to load and be visible in the viewport.

How to enable the update?
