Issue: No Error Message When Subtitle Processing Fails

Hi Team,

I’ve noticed that when an incorrect or malformed SRT subtitle file is uploaded to a video asset, Gumlet moves the asset to the “repackaging” state and then to “ready”, even if the subtitle processing fails. However, there is no clear error message indicating why the subtitle did not appear in the final output.

Since I can see that a subtitle file was added to the video asset, it would be helpful if Gumlet provided an explicit error message or status update explaining why the subtitle was not processed successfully.

Can you clarify where I can find error logs or messages related to subtitle processing failures? If this isn’t currently available, is there any plan to improve error reporting for subtitle issues?
