What has changed
We stopped serving images with Gumlet.net and Gumlet.com domain in mid 2021 and we have setup 301 (permanent redirect) to Gumlet.io domain. From 1st March 2023, we will stop redirecting traffic in this way. This means if you are using yourcompany.gumlet.net or yourcompany.gumlet.com domain to serve images, those images will be broken.
Change required from your end
Please update any gumlet.net or gumlet.com domain with gumlet.io domain in your code. For example, if you are using abc.gumlet.net, update it to abc.gumlet.io. This will ensure fast image loading as redirect is avoided and also ensure nothing breaks when we stop supporting redirects.
We have send email to all users who are affected. If you are someone who received our email, please act on this before March 1, 2023.
Please note this only applies to image sources. All other domains like cdn.gumlet.com, www.gumlet.com and any other .com domain will keep working and we have no plans to retire them.
