Wordpress Share URL - Full screen is not full screen

I have pasted the share URL into my wordpress page using oEmbed. The video does not fill the container size - it is smaller, and when I click the fill fullscreen icon it does not go to full screen. It makes the player wider, but not taller. Please see photos.

Welcome to Gumlet, @Davy_Stiles . I’ve tagged my colleague and help should be on the way.

@Davy_Stiles, I have checked the WordPress oEmbed to a good extent. And we have already raised a request with the WordPress team to fix it. You can find the details here - https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/60182, you can bump up this thread with your need, that makes them move this fast.

Meanwhile, I would recommend you to use the Embed block to add the video and that should work fine.

I am using Elementor builder and the ACF plugin (advanced custom fields) and I don’t see the Embed as an option on either. I tried just a text block with the gumlet url and it shows the same way.

@Davy_Stiles, Elementor offers HTML blocks, i.e., similar to Embeds.

Feel free to try this out and let us know if that works.

I am still having issues with this. I let it go for the past few months, but we’ve had users complain now. I did try using the HTML widgit with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields). I have the field set as a Text field populate the HTML widget.
When I do that, it only shows the website address.

I have also tried putting the embed code in this text field and it also won’t work. Just shows the code type on the page.

It does work when I enter the embed code into HTML on a regular page, but we have many videos and a new one posted each week, so I have a custom post type created for these sermons.

Please help if you can!
